Payable Approval

Below the Payables tab you will see 4 action buttons: Refresh, Approve, Decline, and Redirect. When any action or event happens the system automatically notifies the other party.

  • Refresh – refreshes the page.

  • Approve – approves an invoice.

  • Decline – declines an invoice.

  • Redirect – allows an Approver to route an invoice to someone else in the organization to review and approve.

Find the Payable invoice for review. By default the page shows Requisitions pending your approval.

Approve or Edit a Payable

To Approve (and/or Edit) a payable, follow the steps below.

  1. Go to View > Workflow Queue.

  2. Select the Payables tab.

  3. View the invoice details, click on its Invoice #.

  4. Select the corresponding radio button to Approve.

  5. Click Review.

  6. Check the box next to I have reviewed this payable and wish to proceed.

  7. Click Submit.

  8. Alternatively, return to the Approval screen.

  9. Place a check mark in the box next to the payable you wish to approve.

  10. Click on the green Approve button. It will disappear from your screen meaning it has moved to the next Approver or has been submitted directly to the Vendor.

Decline a Payable

To Decline a payable test follow the steps below.

  1. Go to View > Workflow Queue.

  2. Select the Payables tab.

  3. View the invoice details, click on its Invoice #

  4. Select the corresponding radio button to Decline.

  5. Click Review.

  6. Check the box next to I have reviewed this payable and wish to proceed.

  7. Click Submit.

  8. Alternatively, return to the Approval screen.

  9. Place a check mark in the box next to the payable you wish to decline.

  10. Click on the red Decline button. It will disappear from your screen meaning it has been declined.
