Dashboard Enhancement

Please note that all release information below, including the release date, is subject to change.

New Dashboard Enhancement Coming May 12, 2024

We have received feedback regarding the need to remove Tiles on the dashboard that do not apply to certain users. In response to this feedback, we will be implementing changes to the dashboard to provide a more streamlined and simplified view for users in these roles.

Currently, disabled Tiles are still visible to users, causing unnecessary distractions and challenges. To address this issue, we will be hiding cards on the dashboard if they do not have any badges or action items, as well as no quick links available. This change will apply to all user levels, ensuring that users only see relevant information on their dashboard.

As a result of this update, Quick Links access will also be eliminated when applicable. However, menu options will still be available in the main menu for users to access as needed. By deciding the card visibility based on the presence of Quick Links, we aim to create a more user-friendly experience for all users.

We recognize that certain cards, such as Capital Projects and Accounts Payable, may behave differently when it comes to Quick Links. To address this inconsistency, we will be suppressing the entire card when the Quick Links button is disabled or not present, aligning the behavior of all cards on the dashboard.

These changes are designed to improve the user experience for location-level users who have limited functionality in certain areas of the system. By removing irrelevant Tiles and Quick Links, we hope to streamline the process of placing orders and viewing order history for these users. Thank you for your feedback and patience as we work to implement these enhancements to the dashboard.
