Project Roles

There are four primary roles associated with Capital Projects in the standard capex workflow. While each of these is designed to play an integral part in the process, each role is customizable to fit the needs and requirements of your organization.

Capital Project Corporate Manager

The Capital Project Corporate Manager has the most authority of all the Project Roles. This person will be able to create or approve a project, approve a budget for a project, and will have the ability to approve or decline Capital Requests.

Capital Project Regional Manager

This person will have the ability to approve or decline Capital Requests submitted by the General Managers.

Capital Project Field Manager

The Capital Project Field Manager has the authority to create pending projects and assign the budget that require final approval from the Capital Project Corporate Manager. This user is primarily responsible for adding and maintaining documents, orders, and invoices tied to a particular project.

Property General Manager

A Property General Manager is responsible for submitting requests for more capital via the Capital Request form. The General Manager also has the ability to view the list of pending and past Capital Requests.

Capital Project Accountant

The Capital Project Accountant is responsible for tracking invoices, completing order reconciliations, and for helping to maintain additional project details.
