Inventory

The Inventory module in EPRO is a system that helps you keep track of how much inventory you have on hand by updating it in real-time based on what comes in and goes out. This includes things like purchases, costs of goods sold, waste, and transfers. The system compares the theoretical inventory level with the actual level to give you a better idea of what's there.

Here are some key features of the Inventory module:

  • Perpetual Inventory Tracking – This feature automatically keeps track of your inventory levels as they change in real-time through different events like receiving goods or selling items.

  • Quick Entry Forms – Easily input inventory data like physical counts, stock, sales, and waste.

  • Receiving Integration – Your inventory levels are automatically updated when you receive goods from a purchase order.

  • PO integration – See recommended order quantities based on your inventory levels.

  • Inventory Reporting – View and export various inventory summary information in a pivot chart style format.

  • POS integration – Inventory levels are automatically adjusted when sales are made.

  • Storerooms – Keep track of your inventory at a more detailed level by assigning items to specific storerooms.

  • Costing – Monitor your inventory costs in real-time.

  • Reporting – Get detailed reports including actual versus theoretical inventory levels, current on-hand amounts, trends, turnover ratios, and more.

Please note that not all approved items are automatically set up for inventory tracking. You need to enable the inventory flag for each item in the Approved Item List to start tracking it in the Inventory module.
